Workers Power and the League for the Fifth International stand in the tradition of Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Trotsky. We have produced serious works to help socialists learn the theories of these key figures in history, as well as developing and applying their ideas to the world today.

First published by Workers Power (UK) and the Irish Workers Group in 1982. This book contains a detailed analysis of the origins and nature of the Stalinist states in Russia, Eastern Europe, Cuba, and China. Read it here
